On October 18th we had some thunderstorms roll through our area. Before they hit, they put on quite a light show with lightning striking quite frequently. The whole way home from work I was wishing I had my camera to take some pictures. After I got home I did grab my camera and headed outside to see what I could get. The view wasn't the best from my back yard (kind of obscured by trees) but a couple pictures turned out pretty decent. Here are two of the better ones, with the second being the best from my quick picture taking excursion.
