Back to the Bricks

Home Up

After Tyler, Drew, and I returned from the Woodward Dream Cruise, Tara, Samantha, and Jayden joined us for a trip to the Back to the Bricks car show in Flint. The Back to the Bricks show features a rolling cruise during the week on Saginaw Street from Grand Blanc to Flint, and a large car show on Saturday in downtown Flint. We saw a ton of really nice cars, but because we arrived later in the day we had no chance to see them all.

Back to the Bricks

Drew standing in front of a nice 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454.

Dad knows the owner of this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle.

The Vernor's truck. A Michigan original.

The boys both wanted one of the hot-rod wagons to drive around in.

This Chevy II/Nova wagon was for sale for $8000. It would fit our entire family for cruise nights!

A look down Saginaw Street at the Back to the Bricks car show.

Drew's favorite car, the Corvair.

A nice black Chevrolet Camaro.

A BIG block Chevrolet Chevelle. This one had a 572ci engine in it.

A really nice Pontiac GTO.

The dapper dressed fellow was at the show to promote the Michigan Renaissance Festival.
