The third session of Drew's learn to skate class, on March
28th, focused on repeating what was learned in the earlier two classes. The new
twist was an attempt at skating backwards in addition to skating forward and
getting up off of the ice. It made sense to focus on the basics again, as the
class will be taking a two week hiatus for Easter break.
It is nice to see Drew really enjoying himself on the ice.
He seems to like the fact that he has his own thing to do now, as opposed to
following in the footsteps of his siblings. His first baseball season will be
starting soon, so we will see how he likes that as well. Maybe it is just the
fact that he has something to do outside of the house!

Drew, taking a bow... ok, ok. He wasn't actually bowing - here
is Drew either about to fall, or quickly getting up from a fall.
