The game on Thursday, May 6th, resulted in yet another close loss for Tyler's baseball team. The game was back and forth for the first four innings, tied at 3-3. A costly throwing error in an attempt to pick off a runner who got too large of a lead from third base resulted in the winning run crossing the plate, and the A's added another run later as insurance. I don't think an inning went by that we didn't have at least one runner on base, but we just weren't able to move those runners into scoring position. Once again Tyler struggled at the plate, striking out both of the times that he batted. Tyler played second base today, but didn't have any balls hit his way. The entire team continues to struggle with their bats, so at least Tyler is not alone in that regard.
