Game 2

Home Up

Things were going fairly well for Tyler's team early in the game, as they managed to keep the score close despite a rough first inning. Tyler didn't have his best day at the plate, striking out both times he was up to bat. He had a rough day in the field as well, as he misjudged a towering fly ball, causing it to glance off of his glove and strike him in the head. It was a fairly loud "thud" and I was pretty worried about it. He came out of the game at that point for a while, but he managed to return for his final at-bat. Ultimately the runner that got on base because of his miscue didn't come around to score, so no harm, no foul, but Tyler was pretty disappointed in himself. Things fell apart for his team a short while later, as a bases clearing double sent three players home to score, providing the final "nail in the coffin" so to speak, resulting in a 9-4 loss for the D-Squared Construction Cardinals.

Game 2 - vs. Mets

Tyler started and played the first few innings in left field tonight.

Tyler swinging under and missing a pitch.
