The first game of the year took place on the first Saturday in May for Drew and his Ramsey Built Construction teammates. Last year was a tough one for the team, as many of the kids were playing coach pitch for the first time. Combine that with the fact that most of the kids technically had another year of t-ball available to them (Drew included), and the result was a winless season. The kids were determined to change that this season, however, and they wanted to get the year off on the right foot. Although this was a close game throughout, the RBC team managed to take the early lead and never let it go. Drew did his part in helping the team out on offense, getting three hits and scoring three runs. He was all over the field on defense, including outfield, shortstop, and catcher. The best part of the day was the final score, a 5-3 victory!

    I have to pass along my thanks to my beautiful wife Tara for splitting time at each of today's games today, and taking pictures for me as well. Thanks dear!
