Game 2 for the Holly Middle School Bronchos took place at
the Andrew G. Schmidt Middle School against their arch-rival, the Fenton Tigers.
The game got off to a rough start, with Fenton jumping out to a big early lead.
Holly fought back valiantly to narrow the gap to one
at halftime. The second half was a virtual replay of the first half - at least
the third quarter was, as Fenton jumped out to another big lead. This time the
mighty Bronchos were unable to string together enough baskets to make the game
close once again. Similar to the games that Tyler's teams played in at the Cage,
turnovers and missed layups cost them any chance at a victory today. Tyler
missed practice yesterday with a bout of the flu, so his playing time was
limited in today's game. He only attempted one shot, which missed, and really
didn't have the opportunity to make any more plays. Hopefully with a couple more
practices between games they can straighten out some of the kinks, and Tyler can
get back onto the court with some more playing time.
