Drew's Storm team scrimmaged this same Saginaw Badgers
team last weekend and lost by a score of 14-1. The kids were hoping to battle
them closer today, but that never developed this morning. The Saginaw team came
out strong and never relented, scoring 25 goals while never really even giving
up a shot on goal. Although the game was as ugly as it sounds, I had to keep in
mind that this Storm team has only been playing together for a couple of months,
and for most of them this is their first time on a travel team while the Badgers
team has been together for 3 years now for the most part. There is almost no way
we can be expected to compete with them at the same level at this point. Someday
soon we are hoping for another rematch, however...
