Sometimes in life it's the little things that matter most.
For Tyler and his Holly Bronchos teammates, who have had a tough season so far,
those little things can be as simple as scoring a goal. In the 9 contests that
they have competed in so far this season, they have only managed a single goal.
Today, however, they managed to triple their season total by scoring two goals
in a single match. Tyler had a couple of chances again today, and he was finally
able to connect on one of those chances late in the game. His first chance went
just wide as the goalkeeper came out of the net to challenge him, but he didn't
miss on the second shot, settling the ball into the back of the net on a play
where the goalkeeper challenged another player and Tyler was in the right spot
at the right time to knock the ball in. He was very excited, as were his
teammates. The two goals meant very little in the grand scheme of things, as
they lost the game by a score of 9-2, but it was enough to make playing
worthwhile for some of these kids - especially Tyler!
