Game 1

Both of the Liverpool teams (99/00 and 00/01) joined forces for the Total Sports College Showcase, which took place in Wixom. One quirk about these games is that there are no halves - the play with a 60 minute running clock, which begins as soon as the previous game on the field ends. With the Liverpool roster size for this tournament each of the girls would be playing in 15 minute increments in order to give each player equal exposure to the coaches in attendance.

This was the first of two games for the Liverpool girls today, and it would prove to be a tough contest between two equally talented teams. The two teams went up and down the field, trading chances, but some good goalkeeping and defense kept them both off the board. Unfortunately for the Liverpool team, that is how the game would end.
