Tonight the Holly Grey team started the game off fairly strong, shutting down the Holly Green team in the top of the first inning. During the Grey at-bats, Drew watched two balls go past before swinging at the third pitch. The fourth throw resulted in a hit down the first base line, where the opponent managed to beat him to the bag. Drew earned an RBI for the team, but also the second out of the inning. In the bottom of the second inning Drew returned to his usual position at first base with the score 3-0. Both teams went through the second and third inning fairly quickly, with only a single run scored in the Grey half of the third. Drew came up to bat in the fourth, a drove the ball deep for a double, giving his team another run and moving the lead to 4-0. After shutting out Holly Green in the fifth inning, the Grey team tacked on another run to up the score to 5-0. Being the away team, Holly Green got a chance to tie things up in the 6th inning, but they once again weren't able to do so, giving Holly Grey their first shutout fo the season and a 5-0 victory!
