Game 6

After a rough start to the season, Samantha and her Bronchos teammates hosted the Owosso Trojans looking for their first victory of the season. Tonight's game got off to a slow start, as the two squads traded scoring chances but neither side was able to score. It was Holly that got on the board first, scoring just midway through the first half. Less than 20 seconds later they scored again, widening their lead to two goals. Less than two minutes later the Bronchos scored their third goal of the game to take a 3-0 lead, one that would last until halftime as the defenses for both teams tightened up.

The Bronchos weren't about to ease up on the gas pedal, as they scored another goal a mere 70 seconds into the second half, making it a 4-0 game. They kept pouring it on too, scoring two more goals within the next two minutes to make it a 6-0 game. Owosso was able to score their lone goal of the game late in the second half, as Holly replaced their starting keeper to give her a chance in the field with a big lead. Despite allowing Owosso to eat into their lead, the Bronchos team wasn't about to give up, regaining their 6 goal lead with one last goal with three minutes remaining. That would be it for scoring, and the Holly girls would secure their first victory of the season by a 7-1 score. Go Bronchos!
