Unfortunately for me, I wasn't able to attend tonight's contest as Samantha and her Venice Indians teammates took on the Fort Myers Green Wave. Fortunately for me, I didn't really miss much in the way of a battle. The Indians cruised to an easy 9-0 victory, invoking the mercy rule and negating the need for the two teams to even come out for the second half of action. Unfortunately for me, I missed seeing Sam on the field playing the sport she loves. Fortunately for me, the victory gives me another chance to see her play. Way to go Venice!
