January 12th, 2019

Since none of us had plans for today, we decided to make a trip to Walt Disney World to take advantage of our season passes once again. We made Epcot our first stop of the day, as we didn't get much opportunity to explore the park the last time we were here (in late December).

I have to admit that I didn't do a great job of keeping track of which areas of the park we visited while we were here today, so I will recap our day as best as I can.

When we arrived we headed off to Future World West, to ride The Seas with Nemo & Friends attraction. This was a new ride for all of us, and it told the store of the Finding Nemo movie. While in the same building, we decided to stop in for Turtle Talk with Crush, an interactive show that is mainly geared towards the littler kids, but was still quite enjoyable for all of us as well.

While we were still in Future World West, we decided to take a ride on the Living with the Land boat ride to see the story about agriculture throughout history, as well as how Disney is working on growing their own food on site. After this ride we made our way over to the jumping fountains where Jayden had a lot of fun jumping up to touch the water as it jumped from location to location.

Our next destination was the World Showcase, where we walked through each of the countries. We didn't stop until we hit Norway, where we rode Frozen Ever After, a ride based on the movie Frozen. Although Tara & I missed the old ride that was here, we all enjoyed the Frozen based ride that has replaced it. Up next in the World Showcase was a stop in Mexico. Jay and I went inside to tour the building, including the new Coco based lobby, while Tara and Drew stayed outside to stop at Choza de Margarita for a quick adult beverage. Before we left Mexico we decided to take a ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros.

While we would have spent more time at Epcot, but the rides that we wanted to get on had some pretty long wait times, so we decided to head over to the Magic Kingdom for the remainder of our day. As I already stated, I did a horrible job of tracking our rides and shows for the day, so I don't have much to recap about our time here until later in the day. I know that we rode on Space MountainPirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and the Astro Orbiter. We may have done more, but I don't really recall.

Somewhere between all of the rides we decided to eat dinner at Casey's Corner, a hot dog specialty restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A.

Next time I will try to be better about tracking our activities so that I can give a better recap!
