March 24th, 2019

We had planned to visit one of the Disney World parks today with one of Jayden's friends from Michigan, but circumstances led to them not being able to make the trip down at this time of year. We decided that we would still go anyway, and enjoy the day as planned. Noah, one of Drew's former hockey teammates from Michigan and his friend, was also with us for the weekend, so he joined us at the park for the day.

Due to the late decision to attend Hollywood Studios, we weren't able to acquire any quality FastPasses for today, which meant that we would be aiming for the shorter lines as we wandered the park. Since we got there relatively early, we headed over to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith first. Although it was a long wait (very reminiscent of a busy day at Cedar Point), we all enjoyed the thrill ride. From there we went across the road and got in line for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, where we ate our lunch while waiting for the line to move. As always, we had a blast on this ride as well, and for Samantha, this was the first time that she can remember riding it so for her it was especially enjoyable.

After participating in two of the parks more thrilling rides, we decided it was a good time to take in a more relaxing show, such as Muppet*Vision 3D, which we then followed up with by watching the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

Since we had spent the past hour taking it relatively easy, it was time to get back to something a little more fast paced. Off to Toy Story Land we went, in search of our first experience on the Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster. We had a fairly lengthy wait, but overall we felt that it was worth it. This definitely isn't a record breaking coaster or anything, but it is well done with enough thrills to make it fun for all. While we were still in Toy Story Land, we decided to give Toy Story Mania! a try once again. As always, we enjoyed the arcade style fun this ride offers.

Our final ride of the day was on Star Tours - The Adventure Continues. The kids all enjoyed this one the last time we were on it, and they still had fun today during their ride.

With the Star Tours ride under our belt, it was time to head out to drop Noah back off with his family, and for our family to head home - after all, it is back to work and school for us all tomorrow, made all the more difficult for the kids as spring break is now officially over!
