Game #8

The first half of today's match was pretty evenly played, as the two sides spent a fairly equal amount of time in each others offensive end of the field, with each team trading chances. The RADD squad controlled the action at the start and end of the half, with the Hawks controlling the middle. Jay started today's game on the bench, as she is one of the leaders in time played. She also headed to the bench to end the half, and that is when the RADD squad strung together some high quality shots on net. They converted on their final shot of the half, as the ball snuck past the Hawks keeper when it deflected off of a fellow Hawks players leg and into the back of the net.

The second half definitely didn't go the way the Hawks wanted. Jay once again started on the bench, but when she finally did get in she was moved to forward. It didn't help her team attack the RADD net, though, as they struggled to get shots off. She spent the majority of the second half watching as her team's defense struggled to stop the ball. The RADD squad would go on to score once more before the water break, and twice more after the break. Two of the goals came on some shaky defensive play, while the third came from a direct kick on an extremely questionable handball call. The final today was a 4-0 loss in a game that started out so promising.
