Jayden and her Tampa Dynamo teammates made the trip to Brandon
to take on the West Florida Flames. This game was a snoozer in the
first half, as there was only a total of three shots on goal total
between the two teams, with the Dynamo getting the first and the
Flames getting the last two. It wasn't until after halftime that
the action picked up. Once again, the Dynamo got the first shot on
goal, but the Flames controlled the majority of the action after
that. They would break the tie before the water break, but I missed
the goal as I was trying to determine the extent of the injury that
Jay had suffered moments earlier (thankfully it wasn't too serious,
as she was able to return to action following the break). Coming out
of the water break, however, the Flames would make it a 2-0 game on
a shot that was just out of reach of the outstretched arms of the of
the Dynamo keeper. A short time late they would widen the lead with
their third goal of the game, but I once again missed this one
thanks to the side judge who conveniently stood directly in front of
me. Regardless, the score was now 3-0. That would be how the game
would come to a close. |
