| Game number three of the Tampa Bay Super Cup saw the Tampa
Dynamo team face off against the second Florida Premier team during
this tournament. Unfortunately for them, the game wasn't as close as
the prior game. The action was controlled throughout both halves
by the Premier team, and that offensive domination was reflected on
the scoreboard. Their first goal of the game came on a rebound shot
after the Dynamo keeper could hold on to the initial shot. A couple
minutes later the Premier team would add goal number two, this one
on a pass that went across the field to the right, and the shot went
to the left of the keeper. A minute after the second goal, the
Premier girls would make it a 3-0 deficit for the Dynamo on a pass
through the box that resulted in a short, easy kick in past the
goalkeeper. It took a few moments, but the Premier team would widen
the lead to 4-0 after a Dynamo handball in the box led to a penalty
kick, which was quickly followed up by a pass to the front of the
box that resulted in an easy tap-in and a 5-0 score. The Premier
side would add one more goal before halftime, on a play where the
defense was side by side with the attacking player, but when the
shot was made the Dynamo keeper didn't make any effort to try to
make the save. The 6-0 score would remain heading into halftime. The second half was more of the same, though the pace of scoring
slowed down a bit. The first Florida goal of the half came when the
Dynamo side couldn't clear the ball from their zone, and the Premier
team scored on a long shot from across the field. That goal made it
a 7-0 contest. The goal that made it an 8-0 game came on a corner
kick that was kicked in from in close. The final goal of the game
came on a shot that went under the diving Dynamo keeper.
Unfortunately for the Tampa fans, the girls saved their worst for
			last in this tournament. |
