After arriving at the park we decided to head over to The Land, and check out the new limited-time Soarin' Across America version of the long-standing Soarin' Around the World ride. Aunt Erica skipped this one, as she doesn't do well with the simulated motion on this ride. I truly enjoyed this version, but like the Soarin' Over California version, this one sorely lacked smooth transitions between the various locations that we visited. Though the stark transitions can be a little jarring, it was still a fun version of the ride, showcasing the diversity of the American landscape.

After leaving The Land, we headed to the United Kingdom pavilion in the World Showcase, where Grandma Terry and I ordered the beer-battered fish and chips from the Yorkshire County Fish Shop. This is by far my favorite quick service meal in all of Walt Disney World, and I was glad I got the chance to enjoy it one more time before leaving. Aunt Erica is not a fan of fish, so she headed over to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie and ordered a Dinde B.L.T. (which is turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and garlic aioli), which sounds good, minus the lettuce!

With our belly's full, we headed to World Discovery to get in line for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This is my favorite roller coaster, combined with one of my favorite movie franchises, so it is a must do for me! Aunt Erica skipped this one too, but Grandma Terry and I ended up listening to "I Ran (So Far Away)" by A Flock of Seagulls. The best songs for this ride are "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears, though each song gives the ride a completely different and unique energy, these two match their beats to the coaster movements well.

We decided to head over to Test Track next, as Aunt Erica had yet to ride this one since it was reimagined. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas for us, as rain ended up closing it down while we were in line. Since it was getting late, we decided we didn't want to take our chances on it reopening, and decided to head home instead.

We didn't head straight home, however. We made a stop at Texas Roadhouse on the way to grab dinner.

Once again, an enjoyable day at Disney for me, getting to spend it with Grandma Terry and Aunt Erica. Hopefully I can do it again soon!
