The 17th of August was Tyler's 6th birthday, and I took the day off of work to spend it with him (I did it for Sam, so...). We had some household duties to take care of in the morning, but once those were completed we loaded up the kids and headed out for a game that Tyler has been dying to try - Putt-Putt Golf. Grandma Terry picked up Drew from us, and we started to play. Tyler and Sam really seemed to enjoy themselves, even if they didn't always hold the club right or wait for the ball to stop moving before they hit it again. Fun is what today was all about, anyway.

After the golf game concluded, Tara went to run a few errands while I took Tyler and Sam into town for the car show. We met my parents there, as well as Uncle Steve and Drew. We only stayed for a couple of hours, leaving after we ate some pizza. We had a party to go to!

We held the birthday party at home, with his cousin Veronica - who shares the same birth date. The two families got together for cake, ice-cream, and gifts. We had a good time and the kids were happy with their presents. 'Till next year...
