Home Up From Gary & Terry - Page 2

For Christmas this year my parents volunteered to paint our living room, which is something that Tara had been wanting to do for a few years now. They started on November 16th and were finished on the 20th. It took Tara and I a few days to get furniture and stuff back in the room (and I suppose that we aren't totally settled). We are very pleased with the outcome. A big "Thank You" to my parents for all of their hard work! (A quick note: Please ignore all of the little spots in the pictures. They are not problems with our walls - I realized after looking at the pictures on the computer how dusty my camera lens had gotten. It is clean now!)

Day 1 - November 16th, 2007

Mom & Dad getting started on the project. Mom & Drew working on taping the trim.
Our plain white walls (and Drew checking out the TV). Dad up on the scaffolding getting ready to paint the beam.
Dad rolling the ceiling. Mom cutting in the hallway ceiling.
The front doorway getting a new coat of paint. The archway into the hall with a coat of paint.
The back doors getting edged. Another picture of the back door area.

Mom getting ready to do some rolling. The front wall edged in.
Tara standing near our newly painted wall. Dad rolling the paint on the front wall.
Mom rolling on the back wall. A picture of the back wall almost completed.
