We are the champions, my friend! Tyler's team pulled away in the last five minutes of a very closely played game to win the championship game by ten point, 31-21. Tara & I received a call from Tyler's school earlier in the day letting us know that Tyler rolled his ankle at recess (or more precisely another kid dove at his legs, causing him to roll his ankle). We brought him home a couple hours early to let him rest and to ice his ankle to see if he would be able to play tonight. Everything turned out fine for him, but we did get an ankle brace for him just in case. He didn't get a lot of playing time due to the injury (although he did get some more in the second half after Tara had a small discussion with the coach), but he made the most of his time in the game - getting a steal or two, a couple rebounds, and a shot (which he missed - I have to get our basket raised back up to 10 feet at home!). Once again, Tyler is #7 this year. Enjoy the photos!
