The entire family loaded into the van after I got home from work on Thursday,
September 3rd, for the drive north to St. Ignace. While stopped at a rest area
waiting for the most glorious part of pet ownership (the cleaning of the dog's
mess) I looked over I-75 to see several deer playing and eating in the field
across the way. Of course I had to grab the camera and try to get some pictures!
Rest Area Deer

There had to have been at least 15 deer playing in this field.
Some were running back and forth while others were eating. Very cool
site to watch...

Of course I wouldn't have minded if some of these ended up on
the grill at home!

Once we arrived at the campground a little after 9:00pm we
quickly got the van unloaded and the kids ready for bed. While getting his
pajamas on, Tyler tried on a red hat and purple shirt that was hanging in his
grandmother's closet. It's a good look for him, especially with his long hairdo.
Once the camera came out, Drew and Jayden wanted to be involved too, so there
are a couple of pictures of them as well.

A more serious look at Tyler's favorite new outfit. The hat
looks especially good on his curly brown locks!

Jayden wanted her picture taken too. Here she is in her pajamas
for the night.
