Straits State Park

Tyler playing the Wii outside of Dad & Mom's fifth wheel while
Drew, Grandma Terry, and Jayden all wait for the bikes to be
unloaded from the "garage".
Right next door to our campsite was Rich & Bonnie's camper (part
of our group). They had the awning custom made for these large
outings, and it served as the dining room/card game room for the
weekend.

Grandpa Gary wheeling out the bikes while Drew patiently (or
maybe not so patiently, judging by his hanging head) waits for his
to come out.

The Mackinac Bridge as seen during our bike ride inside the
park.

This is a view of the Mackinac Bridge from one of the trails
that we walked on often during our long weekend of camping.

Grandpa Gary and Jayden walking through the woods on one of the
trails.
There is a section of the trail that has a wooden walkway
covering a muddy section. This is a view along the walkway.
Another picture of the trail that we frequently walked. There
were a lot of trees that grew at weird angles, such as the one
across the walkway, in an attempt to get more sunlight.
Another view of the trail that we enjoyed walking on.

We don't have many pictures of Tinkerbell because every time she
sees me down at her level with the camera she runs over to play. I
managed to sneak a couple of shots in today before she spotted me
doing so.
A closer look at Tinkerbell.
I think that she spotted me while I was taking this picture.

Tyler walking around the campsites enjoying his day and the
beautiful weather.
Grandpa Gary got to enjoy his day a little bit too!
Playing cards was a popular way to pass the time here...
After dinner we went on another walk along the trails. Here Drew
and Sammy are enjoying the view.
Sam sitting in another weirdly shaped tree. I am not sure what
kind of tree these are, but there seems to be an abundance of them
in the Mackinaw area (on the island, here in the UP). Drew refused
to sit in this tree because his feet would not touch the ground.
The sun poking through the clouds in the evening.
Drew did find this tree that he could sit on... his feet were
kept firmly planted on the ground, so no worries from him.
After we returned from our walk we enjoyed ice cream sundaes
around the campfire.
