Tyler played his best game of the season tonight, and his
team came close to getting their second win of the season as well, falling a
single run short. Tyler played second base through the whole game, and fielded a
grounder and tagged a runner out. He also had his first hit of the season
tonight as well, a single in his second at-bat of the game. In his first at-bat,
a walk, he scored a run. Aside from a strikeout in his final at-bat, he did
extremely well. The team was playing well until the Cubs brought in their "stud"
pitcher, who struck out almost everybody that he threw to (aside from the one
hit he gave up). We just couldn't get anything going against him. We had a rough
first inning, allowing a lot of the runs then, otherwise we had a great chance
at a win. The final result was a 7-6 loss.

advice on stealing bases (if the ball gets past pitcher, then the
runner can go because it is a live ball).

Tyler struck out in his last at-bat. The pitcher he was facing
struck out almost everybody that he faced, so Tyler had good company
on that front.
