We didn't get up at the crack of dawn to do it, but our
first activity of the day was to head out on Jeff's boat to do a little fishing.
I somehow managed to forget my camera, so the best I could do was cell-phone
pictures. They aren't as bad as I would have expected, so I went ahead and
posted them here. Enjoy!
Fishing on Saginaw Bay

Tyler jumped a bit when the fish got away from Jeff, who was
trying to hold it for a picture.

Drew caught this little fellow that we had to throw back.
|
|
Andrew also managed to catch a little fish. Once again, not a
keeper.
|
|
Thomas managed to catch a bigger fish than his brother today.

After a few hours on the water with very little action, we
decided to head in and do some shopping. After stopping at Frank's Outdoor World
for some fishing supplies for Tyler, we headed further north into Pinconning to
get some cheese. We stopped at Wilson's Cheese Shoppe (can't forget the last pe),
where I took these pictures of Samantha and Drew by the giant mouse holding his
piece of cheese. Tyler is getting "too old" for this kind of picture, but Jay
isn't - she was just too cranky to stand and smile for a picture...

Once we returned to the campground to make dinner, the
kids took advantage of some down-time to draw on the road with chalk and go out
for bike rides. Here are a few pictures of those moments, as well as a couple of
our campsites.

Drew usually prefers to pass his spare time by riding his bike
while he is camping.
