Home Up

After hauling some kites in the camper for a year or so we finally broke down and got them out for the kids to fly. We went across the street to the open field where the water slides were set up to see if we could make them fly. All six of the kids got a chance to try them out, and they seemed to have fun with them. I guess we should try this again sometime...

Tara and I ordered a turkey fryer set for using when we are camping (and at home some, too). This was our first trip to try it out on.

The New Turkey Fryer

Part of the new turkey fryer that Rodney & Tara ordered. The kit also included a shorter pot and baskets for both sizes of pots, along with a lid and a thermometer.

Around 9:30pm tonight we made the walk down to the River Ridge Landing for an ice cream treat. We ate our ice cream on our walk back since it was getting so late.

Ice Cream Time!

Drew really liked his ice cream (for a while, then he gave it to Tara and ordered a different kind)!
