The sun finally came out on Sunday, September 5th. Unfortunately the temperature wasn't much better and the wind stayed (at least we didn't need a coat today, though). I managed to take a some more photos of our campsites before we headed out for our day's activities.

St. Ignace KOA

The koi pond didn't last too long - this was pretty much empty by the end of the day.

Rod & Tara's campsite.

A look at the front of the campsite. Notice how close the trees are.

The back of the campsite. The camper was originally back another foot or two, but this location moved the stairs in front of a low spot that didn't dry out over the course of the weekend.

The back of the campsite, looking at Gary & Terry's campsite.

Another look at the back of the campsite. The fire pit that was almost right behind the camper belonged to Gary & Terry's site.

Gary cooking breakfast outside.

Another look at the open area between the two campsites.

One more look at the back of Gary & Terry's camper and campsite.

Each year that we have been coming up to St. Ignace we have been stopping at the Bridge View Park to take family pictures on the rocks with the mighty Mackinac Bridge in the background. This year we stopped on the only real sunny day that we had, Sunday, September 5th. We took several pictures, but as you can see by the girls hair that it was quite windy.

Samantha climbing across some of the rocks.

Tyler walking Tinkerbell along the shore.

The main attraction - the mighty Mackinac Bridge.

The family photo - Tyler, Drew, Rodney, Samantha, Jayden, and Tara.

Rod & Tara standing together on the rock.

Rod hoisting Jayden high into the air.

Drew is still scared to death of being held in the air, so Rodney just held him closely instead.

Samantha high above Rodney's head.

Sam and Rod posing nicely for a photo together.

Tyler has reached an age where he is just too big to be hoisted into the air, so here he is standing next to his father.

Another photo of Rod and Tyler.
