Drew's second skating lesson was on Sunday, March 21st.
The class is gradually learning basic skating techniques, such as last week's
getting up from a fall. Today they worked on maintaining balance while skating
across the ice. Drew really did a good job with this, moving from the wall to
the cones and back to the wall in the time it took most of the other kids in the
class to make it from the wall to the cones. He fell a few times, which was to
be expected, but he also got back up amazingly fast (to us, anyway). So far, so
good with the hockey goals.
