After we set up camp and ate our dinner,
we headed off to Deckerville to attend the truck and tractor pull at Wilson
Park. This year I remembered to bring along some ear plugs to share, as some
of the trucks and tractors can get very loud. The kids enjoyed themselves
once again this year, although I think that they were disappointed to not be
able to enjoy an elephant ear while we were there (I know I was, but the
price seemed to have jumped quite a bit from last year).

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
This truck was driven by a girl, and had she not turned down her
first run would have been the winner in her class.
A cool looking old truck...

Drew did his best to plug his ears even with the ear plugs in.
When the diesel trucks went down the track things tended to get
a little smokey!
A look at the smoke pouring out of one of the diesel trucks.
The fireworks that took place downtown could be spotted from the
bleachers this year.
