Once we had completed our tour of the upper falls area we made the drive down
to the lower falls. This was the area the kids were absolutely waiting for. I am
not really much of a water person (although I must admit that a hot tub would
suit my style to a "T"), but I wore my suit in case an adult needed to go in to
help one of the kids. I am glad I did, because I truly enjoyed myself wading
through the water to get to the various falls. I managed to get every one of the
kids across the river, except Drew - he made it halfway across the river, but
didn't like the unsure footing that wasn't helped by the flow of the river
around his legs.
