Here are some more pictures taken during our ride to Mackinac Island to pick up some extra passengers. We also took a tour around the marina area in order to get a better look at many of the sailboats that had arrived from the Chicago to Mackinac race...

The spray from the back of the boat nearly blocks out the Mackinac Island lighthouse.

A clear view of the lighthouse was possible after our boat slowed down to enter the harbor.

A look across the break wall at the Mackinac Bridge.

A closer look at the bridge revealed several more sailboats on the water.

One of the sailboats heading in.

A bunch of sailboats were tied up to the docks.

More sailboats in the harbor...

...and still more.

A look up at Fort Mackinac from the boat.

Tara was in heaven looking at all of the sailboats in the harbor.

A few sailboats anchored in the harbor.

The Round Island Lighthouse as seen from the harbor.

A sailboat nearing the harbor.

After picking up the passengers, the captain was nice enough to cruise through the harbor, allowing everyone to get a good look at the sailboats.

Another shot of the sailboats as we toured the harbor.
