After nearly a year, Drew was finally able to get on the ice in full hockey garb during his "Learn to Play Hockey" class on January 9th. Approximately half of the 50 minute class was spent learning basic skills in groups, separated by their current ability. The second half of the class was spent playing hockey - four on four with no goalies (well, sometimes the coaches stopped a few pucks). Unfortunately I have been having issues with my camera batteries, and the pictures I have included here are the result of not one, not two, but four sets of batteries in the camera. Ugh. Enjoy them anyway, and hopefully next week I will be able to include pictures of the game as well.
