Cadillac Escalade ESV

Home Up

Thanks to an awesome program that is available at work, I was able to use a Cadillac Escalade ESV for the weekend, free of charge. All I have to do is return it clean and full of gas! Who can argue with that? The best part? I can do it all again in 12 weeks! Corvette's, Camaro's, V-Series Cadillac's, they are all available.

I must say that this particular Cadillac is one sweet ride, and all six of us would have no problem getting used to having it as our permanent vehicle. Of course the $77,000 price tag is a bit of a deterrent, but what is money, right? This particular vehicle had seating for 7, with two rows of heated seats (and a heated steering wheel!). The running boards were retractable, and the rear hatch was also powered. It had two TV screens in addition to a navigation screen with rear backup camera. It came with a very powerful V-8 engine which got mileage as good as our truck does! Honestly, I can't think of anything that I didn't like, with the exception of not being able to use the nav screen for, you know, entering a navigation point while driving. Stopped or in park, fine, but no way your passenger can enter an address while you drive.

All I know is that I can't wait for an opportunity to get another one. Hopefully something sporty, and for longer than a weekend!
