Unfortunately for me, I was unable to attend Sam's third
and final game of the tournament due to a prior scheduled event, but Tara was
gracious enough to keep me updated on the action and take pictures for me. She
thought that of the two prior opponents, this team was by far tougher than
either of them. Thankfully we were able to secure a 4-0 victory, which made the
La Forza White Ice undefeated in the tournament thus far and secured a spot in
the championship game tomorrow. At this point in the season Sam seems to be
settling in to her spot at midfield, where she continued her strong play
tonight.

After tonight's game, which made them 3-0 in the
tournament, and thus the champions of bracket "A", the girls were taken aside
and given a speech from their coach as well as a member of the tournament
congratulating their success thus far. They were also given miniature soccer
balls with some of the sponsors logos on it as a keepsake.
