On Groundhog Day, February 2nd 2011, we had a severe snow
fall (even though it wasn't quite as bad as had been predicted). It was bad
enough that the kids didn't have school for two straight days, and both Tara & I
got to stay home from work for one day. Although 12-18" were being predicted, we
escaped with getting only about 10". Thankfully all of the freezing rain stayed
well to our south! Here are a few pictures taken during the brief lull in the
falling snow after Tara & I worked to clear the driveway. We had to plow once
again later in the evening, as another 1-2" fell after I took these photos (or
more accurately, started falling as I was taking these photos). Enjoy!
