Tyler played in his first scrimmage with his new Upward basketball team on Saturday, January 8th. Like Samantha, Tyler had never practiced with any of his new teammates, but it helped that his teammate/cousin Donovan and coach/Uncle Dwayne were there with him. Tyler did not score today, but I think he will have plenty of opportunity once he gets comfortable in his new surroundings. He did have a hard time with the defensive rules in this league, as it seems he has gotten used to the zone defense that his Cage team plays. A couple more weeks of practices and he should be good to go!
