After eating a large breakfast this morning Tara & I
headed out with the kids with the GPS set for Tahquamenon Falls. We decided to
skip the locks in Sault Ste. Marie this year, as the kids are getting bored
there, and we also thought we would bypass the upper falls. This time the trip
was solely dedicated to exploring the lower falls once again. Tara neglected to
pack a swimsuit, so she was self-nominated to stay behind with our belongings
while I took the kids on our trek down the falls. We had a lot of fun, but it
would have been great if Tara had joined us as well. Next time we are making her
come with us!
The pictures below were taken by Tara from along the
shoreline. Enjoy!
