Game 5

Home Up

Despite being tired after facing a barrage of shots during games 3 & 4, Drew was up for the challenge when another Lapeer team needed an extra player (as was his teammate Carson). They joined in and gave a valiant effort, helping to keep the score as close as any we had seen today (at least among those involving one of our teams) at 11-0. Although they didn't score, both Carson and Drew seemed to help spark the offense a bit, with Drew even getting off a couple of shots that went just wide to the right. Of course, even if they were on net the goaltender likely would have stopped them - he was a full head taller than Drew, who usually is a full head taller than most of his teammates! I wanted to see a birth certificate for Andre the Giant!
