Since Jayden's Uncle Dwayne, Aunt Erica, and her cousins Donovan and Marissa weren't going to be able to make it to her bowling birthday party the following day, they opted to give their birthday present to Jay after our family Christmas gathering. While Jay was disappointed that they wouldn't be able to go bowling with her, she was pleased with the new clothes that she received for her American Girl doll (which is backordered and should be arriving in the new year) from her parents and siblings.
