Game 1

Jayden's first ever T-ball game took place on Thursday, May 10th. It was a long wait for her between the parade on the 5th and tonight, but it was all worthwhile. She took the game very seriously, not wasting time playing in the dirt or picking weeds in the field. At the plate she had three nice hits, including one that sailed past the pitcher. She played three positions over the three innings of game action tonight - one at shortstop, one at pitcher (where she had a lot of balls hit to her, and she even chased after two that made it to the outfield grass!), and one at second base. She came off the field after the game saying that they won their game, but with all of the runs scored by each team it really just boils down to who has more players. She was smiling when it was all over, and she had a lot of fun, so it was indeed a great evening!

Game 1 - vs. Holly Community Fund
	Jayden's first T-ball action took place in the field, playing shortstop.
	Jayden got a hit on her first ever swing!
	She quickly finished her swing, bolted from the batters box...
	...and hustled her way to first base for a single.

	Jayden was extremely focused during her second at-bat...
	...but she cracked a small smile when she hit the ball...
	...and was very pleased when she was standing on first base!
	Jay had to hold on to her helmet as she raced to second base. If only her teammate would run to third like he was supposed to!
