The Uncle Ray's Rays were the only lower seeded team to win a game in the first round of the playoffs, and them put them in tonight's game against the first place Angels team. The Rays had lost both of the previous matchups between these two teams, once in a forfeit (due to not having enough players to officially play the game) and once in a close 9-7 battle. For tonight's game to have a different outcome, they would have to play near perfect baseball. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. The Angels managed to get a lot of big hits throughout the game, and by the time the Rays managed to rally, it was too late. Sam didn't have her best day at the plate tonight, managing a single in her three at-bats. The rest of the team didn't do much better, as the final score of 13-9 shows.
