Game 10

Home Up

The game between the Holly Bronchos and the Kearsley Hornets was close throughout - close enough that 4 quarters weren't enough to decide the game. The Broncho boys battled back from 10 points down in the second half to force overtime. They were able to carry that momentum with them into the overtime period, outscoring Kearsley 7-3 in the extra three minutes of game time. The final outcome was a 40-36 victory, moving the 7th grade team to 7-3 on the season.

Tyler played a good, aggressive game today. He made a jump shot in the first half, getting fouled in the process of the shot. He followed up the basket with a made free throw for a successful three-point play. He had a few other shots in the second half, open looks that just didn't quite make their way through the hoop. They were good looking shots, and I was proud of him for staying so active during his time on the court today. He has the talent to play at this level, if only he would believe in himself a little bit more.
