Scrimmage

Home Up

I didn't get to watch the scrimmage first-hand, so I can only report on the brief amount that I was told about it. This wasn't a game-type scrimmage, but rather each team got to be offense for a set number of plays before switching over to play defense for the same number of plays. This repeated for some time, apparently until the coaches were satisfied with what they saw. Tyler got to see action at tight end on offense and defensive end on defense. He is wearing #22 this season, and is sporting long red socks which help make him a little easier to spot in some of these photos. Enjoy!

Scrimmage - vs. Carman-Ainsworth Middle School

Tyler (#22) and some of his teammates lined up on the sideline as the scrimmage gets underway.

Although hard to spot in this picture, Tyler is playing defensive end (look for the long red socks).

Another shot of Tyler lined up at defensive end.

Tyler getting outside positioning on his opposition.

Tyler watching as the ball carrier goes the other way, just in case he cuts back.

Tyler trying to avoid being blocked in the back.

Tyler running down the line of scrimmage towards the ball carrier.
