After successfully crossing with a life jacket on, Jayden
decided that she could go across the lily pads without it - as long
as Tara was in the water and Samantha was watching her back!

|
Jayden got a little off balance from time to time, but managed
to hand on to the ropes.

Tyler did his best to protect Jayden from the 5,000 gallons of
water falling on them from above!

Rodney was beat by the end of the day and ready to find
something to eat!
|
We headed upstairs to change into dry
clothes and pajamas (depending on the age and the mood) before figuring out
what it was that everyone wanted to eat. We were split 50-50 on Pizza Hut
versus KFC, so we decided to compromise and do both. Once everyone had
placed their orders with me, Tara took Sam downstairs to the spa store so
that Sam could do some window shopping before it closed. Although she found
a bottle of lotion that she really wanted, Sam’s budget was tapped out
thanks to a prior purchase of makeup and a Maroon5 concert t-shirt that she
needed to save money for. She was upset that we wouldn’t buy it for her, but
it was a lesson learned about wise use of our money.
When the girls returned to the room,
Tara, Drew, Jayden, and I headed out to pick up the meal. We drove to KFC
first, picked up the food for those three, and then stopped at Pizza Hut to
pick up our online order of pizza, breadsticks, and a P’zone for Tyler, Sam,
and I. We “enjoyed” the Red Wings game and the Michigan basketball game (in
quotes because both teams lost) while we ate.
It had been a long day, and we had an
early morning tomorrow, so we turned the lights off by 10:00pm.
