Tim & Kristin's Wedding

Finally, it was time for the reason for our trip to the Atlanta area... the wedding of my cousin Tim and his bride Kristin. Their wedding and reception took place at The River Club in Suwanee, to the northeast of Atlanta. It is a very high class golf course and housing development - the kind of place that I could dream about living in but really have no chance at. Several of the homes that we found that were for sale were listed for over $1 million. At the golf course where the wedding took place, some of the members included one Michael Jordan (you may have heard of him... he was a decent basketball player back in the day) as well as the comedian Ron White (of Blue Collar Comedy fame). The wedding itself was nice, but since it was held outside it was a little on the chilly side. Temps were below normal for this time of year, and while it would have been warm for us northerners, the wind was howling and kept a bit of a chill in the air. While we ate dinner inside afterwards, the food was served outside, which was a bit of a chore for the servers. All in all it was a great opportunity to see family that it has been way too long that we have been in touch with. We also want to wish Tim and Kristin our deepest congratulations on their union, and we wish them the best in their married life together!
