Here is the rest of our pictures from the annual bridge walk...

Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk

Somebody was out enjoying a parasail over Lake Huron this morning.

A look up at the people on top of the south tower.

The guy in the hat stayed at our campground (and also creeped out Samantha a little bit).

The finish line!

After completing the bridge walk and rewarding ourselves with a donut afterwards, we headed to Mackinaw City to wander around the mall.

A closer look at Drew.

Jayden on the playground structure.

Jay swinging across the circular monkey bars.

Jay coming down from the play structure.

Jayden and Tyler giving a donation to the statue guy.

Jay giving the statue guy a fist bump while Tyler looks on.

Drew posing for a picture with the statue guy.

Mackinaw City's newest restaurant - Weinerlicious!

The only bad part about completing the Mackinac Bridge Walk is the drive back north. With only one lane of traffic headed north as people continue to walk south in the other lane the drive can be slow. This gives Drew and Jayden prime opportunity to dish out their famous "Free High Fives" as we pass by the crowd. They both have a great time congratulating people who are making the walk however, so for them the slow ride is a blessing!

A look at the bridge and the crowd as we make the drive to get into the northbound lane of traffic.

A look up at one of the Mackinac Bridge towers.

Another tower view.
