Game 2

Game two of the tournament wasn't quite as easy for the La Forza girls as the first game was earlier this morning. Although they continued their strong play, they were facing tougher competition. A couple of mental lapses also cost them a shot at their second straight victory. The first of the defensive breakdowns came after the girls had scored to take a 2-1 lead. The somehow allowed the opposition to take the kickoff at midfield and march right down the field, scoring on a shot that sailed over Sam's head. In the second half, there was two La Forza defenders and their goalkeeper standing around the ball, but they failed to clear it from the area, instead resulting in another tying goal, this time at 3-3. That was the final score of this game, and while it doesn't eliminate them from the possibility of playing in the championship game tomorrow, it makes their path a little more difficult.
