Game 1

Samantha and her Impact teammates kicked off the Petoskey Autumn Blast tournament against the Gaylord Extreme on a cool summer afternoon. The girls looked good coming out to play during today's contest, and they held the lead for the majority of the game. They maintained good pressure throughout the contest, keeping the Extreme on their heels. They were able to grab a 2-1 lead in the second half, but wound up surrendering two quick goals, which turned the momentum completely away from the Impact team. They were never able to get the tying goal into the net and wound up taking a loss during their first game of the tournament.
