Game 3

Home Up

June 20th, 2014

Tyler and his JV teammates played their third and fourth games of the Cage season today, and for the first time Tara & I were able to attend. What I gathered from this game is that the coach essentially rotates in a group of five new players every five minutes, meaning each player gets approximately the same 10 minutes of playing time per half. This seems to work out pretty well, as the kids all gain valuable experience both playing with different teammates and against various levels of competition. Tyler played a pretty strong game today, challenging his man on defense and being aggressive on offense. I am terrible about tracking his stats in these games, but I know that he had at least two points on made free throws. Those two points weren't enough, though, as his team fell to the Bendle JV team by a score of 52-44.
